Just completed the transmitter alignment and before I even put the cover on,
I made a couple of 5w 40M CW  contacts.    I know after 3000+ K2's have hit
the air, that this is certainly isn't newsworthy.  But for me, having been
QRT for quite some time and considering the last real kit I built was a
HW-101 over 25 years ago as a teenager, this stuff is pretty darn cool.
Course, I need to apologize to the ops who happened to be my first
contacts - between rusty code and an adrenalin rush, I was pretty tough to
copy...hi!  Even though I've got a box full of options to build, I think I'm
going to keep the rig as is for a while and have some fun with this super
little radio.

Thanks to Gary, Scott, Eric and everyone on the list for "cyber
hand-holding" me through this construction.
