[Elecraft] re: Spinner Knob mod for Elecraft & others

Ah Gee Mike I just threw out my last "knob cushion" last night 8-) Right
after I rinsed and steamed my Brassica oleracea Italia (errr or do you say
Broccoli?) 
The other link looks "promising" however. 
Is that Mod for real?
 Or is it a "digital optics" MOD (cut and paste 8-)
