[Elecraft] heil proset plus with k2

I plugged my heil proset plus headphones into the k2 and i received
excellent reports from California. People were surprised i was running the
k2 with 5 watts and i was receiving 59 reports. Positive comments about the
audio.

I would like the mic to have more gain than im getting with the heil boom
mic. The mic gain is set to the 2 position but i still have to really speak
into the unit to trip the relay. Any suggestions of a way to make the mic
more sensitive?
