[Elecraft] K2 SSB Reception w/o Module vs. Omni 6

Hi Gang,

My new-to-me K2 arrived yesterday and I spent about 3 hours operating it 
side-by-side, A/B style with my TT Omni 6+. My initial take is that it is 
certainly nicer on CW! On SSB, the Omni sounds better, but not by a huge 
margin. My K2 is SN 543 and only has the battery.  The filters for SSB 
reception are set for 2.4, 2.2, 1.9 and 1.6 KHz.  Will RX on SSB be better 
with the SSB board option?

Either way, the Omni will be posted FS very soon!  The K2 is definitely the 
way to go for my favorite activities of CW QRP contesting and as an IF for 
VHF/UHF contesting.
