[Elecraft] K2 IF use at 24.1MHz for W1GHZ XVTR

Hi Gang,

As I await my new K2 I am wondering. Will it transmit at 24.1MHz?  I just 
built the W1GHZ 222MHz transverter from QST ( info at www.w1ghz.org ) While 
designed for use with the 817 as its IF, it will work with any HF rig that 
can put out 1/2 W at 24.1MHz.  If the K2 can do this, I will have to 
rethink my stategy for VHF+ contesting! I was only intending to initially 
use the K2 as my IF for 2M.

BTW, the 817 is truly a nice radio for IF use.  I used it for both 222 and 
10GHz in the January VHF SS.
