Thanks for posting this info. Nice to see all of the good advice. I
haven't done that with my K1, but I did blow up my DSW-40 in very
similar circumstances. I also now keep all rigs well isolated from each
other, and also use an antenna switch that grounds the un-used inputs.
Same thing happenned in the DSW, the low voltage regulator blew! Also
took out the DDS chip (AD9835). Replacing those parts brought the rig
back to life. Hopefully you haven't toasted the CPU. Good luck and let
us know what you had to replace to get it going again.
