Still have the K&E LogLog Duplex Vector rule that I used throughout college
and grad school, plus a bamboo Dietzgen with added L,C and F scales to work
resonance problems. I also had a small 5 " aluminum rule I received as a
going-away gift from General Electric but time did a number called aluminum
oxide and it is now a one-piece display rule!
The K&E still works well and lines up and reverses. Those "in the know" will
understand . . . <:}

There's a very interesting article in today's Wall Street Journal about a
new interest in old technology - the slide rule. Who else out there still
have at least one slide rule they can get their hands on (and use it)?
