[Elecraft] (OT) slide rules

I still have mine.

Incidentally, my examination papers (inter alia) carry the instruction,
"slide rules and non-programmable calculators permitted."  For the sake
of the nation, people who do real math are to be encouraged.

Slide rules made the front page of today's Wall Street Journal
(2/18/03). 
Article about a collector, restorer, and reseller of this important
piece 
of history.  After all.... we went to the moon during the slide rule
era!
