[Elecraft] receiver broken

Here is what happened:

K2 run just fine yesterday during contest. Today, I built the KPA100 and
succeeded with all tests until KPA receiver tests. Then I noticed the
receiver is dead, really dead. No birdies.  So, I unplugged all the KPA
cables and hoped for a signal, but nothing. =20

The only thing I did to the K2 was changing the 2 firmware chips,
running CAL PLL again and adding the connector for the RF cable (bottom
cover).  Something major must have gone wrong this time... Where would I
start looking?  Switching PRE and ATT do not change a thing to the white
noise I can hear in the head phones!
