[Elecraft] Help with K-1 20m Power Issue

Today I tried to isolate an issue with the power output of my two year old
K-1. It's been there since serial number 89 was born in July 2001.

Power output on 40 meters with a 13.8 volt supply at maximum (7 watts) is in
fact 7 watts which seems to be as most of you report. However power output
on 20 meters is only a maximum of 5 watts. Not that this in any way has
limited the radio and I know it is spec for 5 watts.... but I see most all
of you reporting higher values ? BTW I use a OHR WM-2 that's well
calibrated. I had earlier done a power linearity mod so the PO agrees with
the internal meter well.... and the mod didn't change this specific problem.

Today I tried another 1N5711 thinking variations in it might be the
cause..... another full alignment.... and checked and tested all my toroids,
critical caps and diodes..... no problems and nothing seems to make a
difference for 20 meters. Coils peak as they should in rx/tx but output is
low ?

Any thoughts ? Are you guys "really" seeing 6 to 7 watts out on 20 with a 2
band 20/40 board ?
