  If you are reading the p/s voltage at the supply, it will be higher than 
the display by about .7v because of the polarity-check diode in the K2. 
Actually, it would typically have greater disparity under tx, because any R 
in the power cable to the K2 would cause further voltage drop.  You won't 
notice this too much under rx when the current draw is low, but you will 
under tx when the current draw is high.
