Hi John,

As long as you still have a little adjustment range at the end of L34,
you're ok. If  L34 is completely bottomed out, you can't be sure you are at
the peak or not.  You might need to parallel C182 with a small cap and then
back off on L34 to get the circuit to resonate at 4.9MHz.

The pots for keyer speed and power are read by the ADC in the controller
chip.  The ADC  output will vary at least one increment from one reading to
the next. There is probably some filtering in the firmware but if the pot is
noisy, the reading may fluctuate enough that the program thinks the pot has
been adjusted manually. If all the external connections are good, maybe
turning the pot end to end several times will make the internal wiper
contact more stable. Otherwise, it might require new pots.
