[Elecraft] Is this Cap OK to Use?

Thanks, Don. The lead spacing is the same so I don't think there will
be any problem with fit. I'm not sure what the voltage requirement is
at that point in the circuit but presumably what I have from RS will do.
It certainly is discouraging to have absolutely no parts stores any
more. As I mentioned, even RS seems bent on getting out of that end of
the business. And I just couldn't see bugging Elecraft for one little
capacitor. I would only do that if a reasonable equivalent of the
missing part was unobtainable locally. And so far, this has been the
only missing part.

Bruce,
Yes you can use the RS caps - any caps with the same value and a
sufficiently high voltage rating would do the job. The only possible
problem could be a 'form factor' problem - either the lead spacing or
the
physical size may not fit the board correctly and you will have to be
creative in cramming it in. The SSB parts on the front panel board
carry
only the audio, so it is not critical (electrically) for lead lenghts,
etc.
