Tim,

Just run a line from the Speaker output connector on the rear panel to the
Line Input of your external audio system. Plug it in and your internal
speaker goes silent. Pull it out and you are back in business with the
internal speaker.

Subject: [Elecraft] Option to bypass audio amp?

able "tap" off the audio-out from the K2 at the option of the user. The
audio-out could then be run to a small stereo amp or mixer while in the
shack. Unplug the "audio-out" cable and your back to normal audio. This can
be done with the Pro II and I was wondering if it could be done with the K2?
If so, I should probably plan on it during the building process rather than
as an after thought. All ideas and "how too's" would be appreciated. 73/Tim
