[Elecraft] Aviation Headset Wiring

'Crafters,

I have an aviation headset that I thought might be worth looking into usi=
ng for the K2. It's VOX capable with a three conductor plug. For those wh=
o don't know, aviation headsets have two plugs. One for the receive, the =
other for transmit. The receive is not a problem. The transmit plug probl=
em I have is, "What goes to what?" Obviously one is ground (probably cont=
act #3, counting from the tip); one, I'm thinking, goes to the AF (though=
 I don't know which); but, how do I get the VOX to work (does it go to th=
e PTT!?)

The jumpers are wired for the MH-2. I was planning on building an adapter=
 to screw into the K2's mic plug and have a 3/32 female for the headset.

Has anybody tried this? Am I barking up a dead tree?
