[Elecraft] K2 Does Digital

Well, I'm impressed.  Got my K2 #2533 on the air on 1/19/03, decided to try some digital modes, and using a marginally strung G5RV and 5 watts max have worked 31 states and 11 countries on PSK and RTTY.  Met a ton of nice folks ragchewing, too. Of course the CQ RTTY contest this weekend helped with some of the countries, but I think it's truly amazing what just enough power to light a Christmas tree bulb can do!!!!   Guess I'm gonna have to get it on CW and get serious about the contests in that mode, too.  Thanks to the good folks at Elecraft for giving us the opportunity to have so much fun!!!     72/73 to all .... Mike  KG4MTN
