One of the problems with the old surplus headphones (cans) was the pain
they inflicted on the ears and sides of the head if you wore glasses like
I do...They would crush my ears against the ear pieces of my glasses,
which in turn left deep painful welts on the sides of my head behind my
ears...Moving them forward off the ears didn't help, they still pressed
on the glasses...These phones were heavy so they had to maintain a lot of
pressure on the sides of the head to keep them in place...
