Part II - [Elecraft] K2 - 14.2 V for internal battery?

Folks just to report back and ask for further comments.

Originally my power supply delivered 13.2 V and I needed to bump up the
voltage to charge the battery.

I tried installing one and then  two 1N4001 diodes in series with the
existing 10.5 V zener and got the following voltages on RX on the Elecraft
volts display:

Before playing around: - 12.9v

with 1 diode added - 13.6v

with 2 diodes added - 14.2v

Im currently on one zener at 13.6V. Does anyone think that the 14.2v option
is too high and will result in overcharging?
