I had the same feeling when I looked at the picture.  However, no one has
reported hearing clicks from the trailing edge.  Why is this?  

If you listen for clicks, remember that you must listen AWAY from the frequency
to hear them.  If you listen on frequency, a narrow filter will lengthen the
rise/fall times and remove the clicks.
