[Elecraft] Speaker for K2

Something I use to enhance the sound/volume of the K-2 speaker is
a piece of 4" dia, schedule 40 PVC 2.5" long, with the top blocked with
a pc of 1/4" plexiglas, cut to fit inside the tubing, & glued in place. Cut
a semi-circle opening in the tubing, that is 1 1/4" high X one third the
circumference of the tubing wide. Cut from the bottom of the tubing.
Paint to suit. Set the tubing on top of the K-2, over the speaker, so
that the back two screws of the speaker stop the tubing from sliding off
the back of the radio. Have the semi-circle opening you cut in the tubing
facing the front of the radio, to direct the sound out the front. Other
dimensions may work as well as/better than, this is just what I settled on.
It really makes a difference in the volume for me.

Very simple/easy to build, but can send a .jpg pix if wanted.
