First off -- my two posts (very similar) appeared from the List
in reverse order. The first preliminary list should be the first
one, and the second, where I looked things over with the scope, should
be after that. 

As for the 8V regulator -- I heard from another List member who says 
his sensitivity is fine even though his 8A line is not 8.2V and his
AGC threshold pot is fully CCW for 3.8V. So the sensitivity problem
may be just on mine after all. 

Have you gotten any response about yours, Dwight?
