I use a set of retro 1980s car speakers on my K2 and the sound is
terrific. I bought the pair for $5.00 at a fleamarket. The speakers
are inside plastic cases that look like dash mounted tachometers. They
really look kewl next to the K2.
Just goes to show you don't have to spend allot to get allot!
Cheers,

A number of ops here got Motorola mobile unit speakers from flea
markets, etc. to use with their K2's according to a long thread some
time back. The K2 does NOT have a LOT of audio. A watt or so, I
believe. It won't drive an inefficient speaker very well, such as most
of the "hi-fi" bookshelf units.

Hello--
I recently got a used K2 (#917) & don't care for the internal speaker.
Have any of you found an external speaker that works well w/ your K2? Or
maybe a replacement for the internal one? Thanks very much-- Max, k0max
