Well, it can't be too far away....After all, consumption of ham,
contamination by ham and proximity to ham is frowned upon by at least two
major world religions.
Next thing you know, we'll invent wonderful new terms to describe
left-handed keys/keyers so as not to offend the sinister folks in our
midst.
Soon enough the FCC and ARRL will eliminate all reference to the Amateur
License Test(s), since that term points towards individual responsibility,
not group culture.
Sigh, and I'm waiting for the Altitude Impaired Radio Operators of the
world to object to the term QRP, since the meaning Low Power contains a
word that may be offensive to short(low) people....that is if a certain
block of countries in Europe don't rise up first.
I wonder if Wayne and Eric got dispensation from the World's Famous
Mountain Lovers to use the term K2?
