Travel antenna: The MFJ-1621 is the part number for the antenna I =
mentioned earlier. Note in the instruction manual that it says to lay =
the 50 foot coaxial cable out. They don't say so, but this is really the =
antenna. The entire thing forms an asymmetrical dipole about 50 feet =
long. If you don't want much RF current to flow thru the radio to the =
power ground either run off of batteries or add an appropriate current =
balun at the radio.
