Hello Mike,

Make sure that after you set the SSBA menu to 'BAL', you exit the 'EDIT' 
mode so that your display returns to displaying frequency. Then, hold in 
the 'VOX' button, and you will see the version displayed.

Then, remember to go back to the SSBA menu, and change from 'BAL' to 
whatever was your previous setting (probably '3').
