[Elecraft] Wire gauge for Toroids

Hi All

I plan to redo/improve some of the toroids in my K2(3773) and options.

All of the manuals show #26 wire except the KSB2 which shows #28 for the
red. 

I presume that #28 was chosen for a specific reason I am wondering what that
reason is?

Question can I use #26 instead of #28 in the SSB option?
