Hi Paul,

If you just want to control the K2 via a computer and  you're not interested
in the other remote features that use the RF and AUX signals, you can
isolate these pins on J1 on the KIO2 card.  Only pins 2, 3 and 5 of J1 (the
9 pin
D connector) need to have signals for RS232 control.

I cut the etch going to pins 1, 4, 7 and 8 on mine and clipped one end of
L1 and R1, since I had already assembled the board.    If  the other
features are ever needed, these mods can be easily reversed.
