[Elecraft] XG1, K2 and KX1

Received my XG1 this morning. took about an hour to build.
Set fqy with my counter to 7.040.

Manual was at Rev C.
Page 3;
The first check box states "Set S2 to the 1uV position"
The very next check box states to set it to 50uV position??
Why?? We haven't done anything in between :-\

In the 50 uV position, the TS-2000 indicates S9+10 with
pre-amp ON, and S8 with pre-amp OFF.

Set up the K2 using the written procedure. Easy as pie!!

Set up the KX1 per Wayne's email;
Very little difference using the ATU in CAL mode or tuned
into the DL-1 dummy load.

The KX1 reading is heavily dependant on the filter setting
AND, in the narrower modes, the pitch of the note!! Must be
related to the ripple response curve of the crystal filter!!

Used the 1000Hz setting to set up for S9 at 50uV.
Reducing the filter width to it's narrowest gave me S3, and
read on the  S9+ mark at it's widest.
The filter setting has a great influence on setting the H
and L parameters...
Using the 1000Hz position gave me close agreement with the
K2 and the TS2000

Ended up at H=5 and L=75.
