R. That's what I should have written. At any rate, it isn't the plug wiring that's the problem, since the same plug works fine by hand. The keying menu is set to hand, and autodetect has no bearing on the operation. It's doing the same thing either on or off. Is some keying "stuff" being sent to the rig through the serial connection? Obviously it is, as my experimenting with K2Net reveals. Is there a way to disable this "feature" to make sure it's not causing problems?
