aside from making big labels on the ends of the k2 special cables ... I 
then overwrap the labels with thick clear  3M # shipping tape.. to protect 
them.

THEN I USE A PERMANENT RED MARKER ( SHARPIE)
AND COLOR THE SHELL OF THE CONNECTOR, INCLUDING THE FLANGE THAT MOUNTS TO 
THE RADIO...    RED  DANGER !!!

I ALREADY HAVE USED THE RED MARKER ON THE 12VDC JACK/PLUG ASSEMBLY INSIDE 
THE RADIO... AND A BLUE MARKER ON THE RF PLUG/JACK CONNECTORS....    to 
avoid that mistake....

( guess i'll put in the rf bypass cap modification someday )
