Well .. yes.  But I do get lazy at times :-)

Main thing is not knowing the capabilities of the tuner in the KX1.  For 
example, I have great confidence that the KAT2 or KAT100 would tune a 51 
ft G5RV and pretty good confidence that the KAT1 would do so.  Not sure 
with the KXAT1.
