[Elecraft] Installing C6 in K2

Can someone help me decipher the first instruction, right 
column, on page 54 of the K2 manual?  Manual rev is 'E'. 
Just below the install of RFC 2 and RFC 7.

Installing C6, presumably on the bottom of the board 
(although it does not say that).

It says to use the outer two of the three pads in that line. 
  Does this mean the two pads closest to the edge of the 
board (the outer two) or does this mean the two outside 
holes of the three, i.e. the middle hole is not used?

Which might it be?
