[Elecraft] any XG1 kits out there?

Wayne,

I built mine this afternoon -- while dealing with upgrading two
computers. Manual is fine. XG1 does work, but I have not done specific
tests of my K1 nor K2 with it. Observations:

o Using a DMM ohmmeter was essential: Could not read the color codes on
those blue resistors even with a magnifying glass.

o Interspersing one 5% R with the 1% Rs was confusing. Thought I had
one missing at first. I recommend that all 5% Rs be at the end.

Otherwise all is fine.

BUT .. having just built a KX1 last week, the manual is lacking typical
values for that radio.

One of the best reasons to have the XG1 is to know if your rig is
"typical". KX1 values are sorely needed.

The mini-kits are great fun and very useful. Keep them coming, Wayne.
