[Elecraft] Wahoo! The fun continues :)

Hey y'all,

YAY! 

The XYL said that I could go ahead and order my KX1 and consider it my
Christmas present :)

So that's what I done did. This afternoon, placed my order on the
Elecraft web page (which was very easy!), and Bill/NA7Y was nice
enough to say he'll put all the little tiny parts into the correct
spots and make it play nice for me. (BTW, thanks to all the other fine
folks out there who offered as well! Who says hams ain't what they
used to be no more?) I hope to be taking it to Ukraine with me when
Melanie and I go to adopt our child sometime before the end of the
summer (probably before May, if we're real lucky and everything...at
least the paperwork's nearly all collected and ready to go.) Hopefully
I can get in touch with the right people to get permission to
operate. This would be a good thing. So if I get permission to
operate, I'll be bringing it along, and maybe I'll even have some time
to operate it! 

So...happy Christmas!
