[Elecraft] Encoder Noise (After Running CAL PLL)?

Hi Paul,

The closest I've got for a zipper noise at one frequency for SN < 3000
is when the VFO and PLL reference frequencies are nearly equal.  This
drives the phase lock loop chip crazy.  This is in the FAQ under
http://www.qsl.net/ve3mcf/elecraft_reflect/K2_VFO_Anomaly.txt
with the fix being a little inductor and capacitor filter to the
PLL chip.  It is possible that harmonics of that frequency might also
be a problem.  If this isn't what is wrong, what frequencies cause
problems?  Does the problem go away if you use a different power supply,
video monitor, computer and all the other usual suspects?
