[Elecraft] any XG1 kits out there?

We just started shipping XG1 kits, and hopefully some of you have already
received them. As with all of our kits, we did a field test to make sure the
manual and kit were ready for prime-time. But if you find something we missed
please let us know as soon as possible. Corrections should be sent directly to
me, not the list.

There's already an XG1 review category set up on www.eHam.net:

Now's your chance to write the first review ;) The XG1 is under "QRP
Accessories" because there didn't seem to be any directly-applicable major
category defined at present. Perhaps the nice folks at eHam will set up a "Test
Equipment" category. (As for other mini-modules, the DL1 dummy load is also
under "QRP accessories", and the BL1 balun is under "antennas baluns". I don't
think the N-gen has a category, but it would belong in "Test Equipment" if and
when such a category appears.)

The 10 or so XG1s we field-tested all came in within about +/- 1 dB of each
other, so we have high hopes for this little unit becoming a receiver
measurement standard. To get this kind of amplitude accuracy in the past, you
needed a piece of test gear traceable to NBS and large enough to warp space-time
on your workbench.
