Richard,

The info in the KSB2 option instructions is a bit behind the times - your
base K2 manual is correct.

The real situation is this: If you grounded the crystals near the bottom of
the crystal cans, there will be no interference.  OTOH, if you did it the
old way, with the grounding wires soldered to the top of the crystal cans,
the SSB board will not fit if the wires were placed on the inboard side of
the crystals.  (i.e. the SSB board fits very close to the crystal cans - be
certain that side of the crystals is clear at a height of about 1/2 inch
above the RF board.
