[Elecraft] KX-1: Awesome Fun

Finally, KX-1 #108 is on the air and operating!  First contact: N5KIP in
Baton Rouge (yay!).  Minor problems:  Major key click on 40M causing the AGC
to kick in when I'm sending morse.  Doesn't seem to happen on the other
bands.  Also can't seem to get a good SWR on 40M (two problems may be
related) with the 24' wire with a 16' counterpoise.

The rig seems to operate perfectly otherwise (and it's probably acting
perfectly anyway with operator error!).  This is my first foray into the
world of QRP and I'm happier than a pig in you-know-what!!!!  I'm worse than
a little kid at Christmas.  Thanks, Elecraft, and thanks all of you on the
mailing list who helped me along the way!!!
