[Elecraft] Time Clock problem

I have the real time clock option in my K2 [3776] and I can hear it 
clicking in the back ground ... especially when I have the  unit 
connected to my laptop... is there some way to filter out the ticking of 
this clock?? It's a pain in the lower 48 ....
