Topband related question: are K2 users running an unamplified Beverage straight into their K2's rx ant jack?  I tried a K2 about two years ago and the rf/if gain coupled with the AGC threshold was insufficient for the straight-in Beverage.  If I cranked the gain to hear weaker signals on the Beverage, I would blow out my eardrums if a strong signal came on frequency.  Was wondering if this issue has been addressed in the intervening time period?
