[Elecraft] XV144 Alive and well

Hi there,

Just finished up the XV144; the second XV I've built.  It all went together 
well and tuned up perfectly.  I would like to thank Val and Victoria at 
Elecraft for doing a perfect job at packing the kit.  Everything was there, 
and there was nothing left over.  The manual has improved quite a bit since 
the XV222 built in October.

Only one minor squak:  One of the two 4-40 holes in the RF module heat 
spreader was not tapped.  It took about 2 1/2 minutes to solve that problem, 
but others, without the right tools might have a problem.

Looking forward to mountain topping the two XVs during the January V/UHF 
contest.
