[Elecraft] PLL calibration

 I wonder if anyone ever had a situation where the PLL would not calibrate.  
I just did the BFO mod and the PLL mods.  Ran CAL PLL and nothing happens.  
Shows 12.092 MHz and nothing else. No little "ds" flashing.  Waited for 15 
minutes, no beep.  

The BFO range and the PLL range are OK  

However - when checking PLL range by pushing the band+ and band- there is 
only a quick blip of the higher or lower frequency - then it reverts to the 12 
MHz number - almost too fast to see, but the range is within specs.  

Did not do firmware upgrades as U6 is 2.03d and U1 is 1.07

Any ideas?
