[Elecraft] Just ordered a KX1 Have questions

As I recall is says in some Holy Book " Time spent Fishing and 
Soldering does not count against a man's lifespan"
  Actually mine took about a week of evenings, couple of hours 
here or there. Very fast, I was surprised when I finished. The first 
night was spent sorting and organising plus compiling a list of 
necessities  ie: solder, new tips,find sponge,snacks,coffee,flat 
cutters,etc. Another couple of nights were spent resoldering bad 
connections, and rewinding sloppy torroids. The way I was 
soldering I may need to look for solder wick by the kilo.
