KX1 #63 visited my club (W3GR) meeting last night, and we hooked it up 
to our Gap Titan on the museum roof. On 40m, it showed 1 watt out on 
internal AA alkalines. KD5PHV (Mark) was calling CQ from Sallisaw, OK. 
He gave us a 449 and we had a nice chat. There could be a few more 
orders for KX1's coming in from the Baltimore area.

#63 is now going in my flight bag whenever I go flying. Great survival 
rig if I am ever forced down. Takes up a corner of the bag, next to my 
other survival gear, and I always have extra AAs in the bag. Maybe I can 
even leave my flashlight at home now! Well, that _is_ stretching it!
