Well, the Hakko 808 desolderer is a fantastic piece of equipment.  I =
removed Q5 zip-zip-zip, clean as a whistle.  Replacing Q5 did not get me =
a sidetone, however.  So it's back to the basics of examining the =
control board microscopically.
