Well it's done.  K2 # 3863 is alive & well.  Many thanks to Scott & 
Gary.  I really doubted that I could do it..
Only two major pblms, power amps installed on wrong side of board, last 
xfmr in backwards & (1) cold solder joint!!

Got it on the air tonight with 5 watts... 40M was poor  so far this 
evening.  Managed to work Florida from Houston.  I am tickled pink.  Now I 
can't wait to build the options...

Now let me see, Hmmm, shall I replace my portable Kayak rig (Icom 706) with 
the K2.  Nahhhh.  I would hate to get it wet!!
