[Elecraft] KX1 AC Supply

What are folks using when the want to power the KX1 from AC (say in a 
hotel room)?

My inverter-type supplies are too noisy when BW is openned up to 2 kHz

My venerable HW7/8 supply is too heavy.

Seems like what is needed is a one Amp linear supply which works off 
100-240 VAC.

Best solution now is my 10 AA NiMH pack.  But a small AC supply would be 
good to have; no need to recharge 10 batteries every few days.

Does anyone know a source for such a thing?  Apparently RS has nothing 
in this class.

Would the KX1PS be a good Elecraft product?  Kinda low tech .. but so is 
a dummy load ;-)
