Just double checked.  T1 is wired correctly and no shorts.  Actually, 
since C55 is connected to the center tap of the T1 secondary, it should 
affect both, just in opposite directions.  But that still agrees with 
what you said, when FWD is at max, REFL would be at minimum.  I do seem 
to be getting the opposite.  I'll look to see if there's something else 
that could cause it to act like FWD and REFL have been swapped.
