I don't think that he wishes to buy the ant, just the K1-4 and wishes to
know if the KAT1 tuner will be able to match a W3EDP. I wish that I could
help out since I use that antenna in a configuration similar to what Charles
W1CG described yesterday. However, I have no experience with the KAT1 and
its matching prowess.

It does work well enough with my KAT2, however, though 15 and 17 meters have
proven problematic for some reason with the 17' counterpoise.
