Just purchase the 9V eliminator wall wart transformer for about $13 or so,
and you can use it continuously in the shack. Then when you go portable,
put the 9V battery in the speaker/amp. I have used this instrument for many
years in hundreds of test applications. Among our group we affectionately
call them the "Million DB Amplifier". No shack should be without one.
